BIG NIGHT WON
August 21, 2020

Second release from the self-titled debut album.
Gustav Sigala Haggren wrote ”Big Night Won” the day after Donald Trump was elected president. He wasn’t sure what to do with the song at the time. Feeling unready for the new world, he put the song aside.
While forming musical project Bells Fell Silent together with Niklas Hegfalk he realized the song was more hopeful than he first had felt. The song starts off with the words: ”I have not come to see the end of kindness”.
Now we are facing a new world again. Covid-19 is still spreading, another presidential election is coming up in the US, Greta Thunberg is trying to get the world to listen to scientists and on the streets people is demanding justice and healing for black people.
Maybe the song needed to be released in 2020.

JUNE 5 2020
First release from self-titled debut album, out November 2020 on Stargazer Records.

Gustav Sigala Haggren wrote "Come With Me" after his first daughter was born: "When she arrived she was blue and couldn't breathe. After several long and hard minutes she started to fill her lungs with air. I promised her there and then to always show her that the world can be a kind place if we let it. This song is for her, which is why the song starts and ends with her heartbeat."
